Ford Focus WRC 08
Van Merksteijn Motorsport took last July possession of the First Focus WRC 07 to be released by M-Sport for private teams. De Focus WRC 07 with registration EJ56 FXA was used in 2007 by Mikko Hirvonen for overseas rallies and in 2008 by Gigi Galli. The car is a further development of the 06 version with which Peter van Merksteijn junior is driving. Especially the aerodynamic package and the weight distribution have been optimised. Enigine wise there are only a few small differences with the 06. After the WRC Rally of Portugal the car has been completely rebuild and upgraded to the latest available 08 specifications.
