The team

Van Merksteijn Motorsport, winner of the LMP2 24 hours of Le Mans and Le Mans Series champion, is the team from which all autosport activities are arranged for Peter, Peter jr. and Stephanie van Merksteijn. Van Merksteijn Motorsport is active in the World Rally Championship with Peter and Peter jr, both driving a Ford Focus WRC, and with the Porsche RS Spyder the Dutch team has dominated the 2008 Le Mans Series and the 24 hours of Le Mans with an almost perfect score of 5 victories out off 6 races.

The 2009 season started with the participation of Peter van Merksteijn in the Dakar 2009 in an by X-Raid entered BMW X3CC. After that the team took part in de WRC rallies of norway and Portugal and has entered both Focus WRC in the Dutch Rally Championship for Peter van Merksteijn jnr. and Bernhard Ten Brinke.

Beside the management of the family Van Merksteijn's motorsport activities, Van Merksteijn Motorsport is also active with a full service "Arrive & Drive" rental service of group N rallycars where the team takes care of the technical and organisation management for national and international rallies. Van Merksteijn Motorsport can arrange everything for its clients ranging from co-drivers, private testing and training with international rally drivers at the Van Merksteijn Motorsport testing range at Furstenau Germany to company incentives.
